echolens was born out of late nights, big dreams, and a shared obsession with living in the moment. We're three best friends from Southern California who set out to build a camera that feels as natural and creative as the adventures we grew up chasing. What started as a passion project quickly turned into echolens.

At its core, echolens is about slowing down and choosing to be present rather than perfect. In a world of endless screens and instant gratification, we wanted to create something that reminds people what it feels like to live the moment before capturing it.

We built echolens to bring back the feeling of film: the anticipation, the imperfection, the magic of not knowing exactly how your photos will turn out until later. But we also wanted the freedom of digital: the ability to shoot, share, and relive those memories effortlessly. So we blended the two worlds, creating a camera that looks and feels timeless, but lives fully in the now.

Our mission is simple: inspire people to experience life with intention. To let people travel lighter, disconnect a little, and reconnect with creativity, friends, and the world around them.

From the first prototypes in our San Diego garage to a Kickstarter that connected us with creators across the globe, echolens has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined.
